Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son inspects the organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam in Vinh Phuc

On the morning of June 26, the Ministry of Education and Training delegation led by comrade Nguyen Kim Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training, worked on the organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam in Vinh Phuc. Receiving the delegation were comrades: Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vu Viet Van, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches who are members of the Steering Committee for the 2025 provincial high school graduation exam.

Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Phu Son, Director of the Department of Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Provincial High School Graduation Exam, said: The whole province has 16,619 candidates registered for the 2025 high school graduation exam, an increase of 1,100 candidates compared to the 2024 high school graduation exam; of which, 16,287 candidates took the exam under the 2018 General Education Program; 332 candidates took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program.

The whole province organized 1 examination council with 30 examination sites including 29 examination sites for candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program and 1 examination site for candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program; there were 705 examination rooms, 26 waiting rooms in 9 districts and cities; mobilized nearly 2,500 cadres, teachers and staff to participate in organizing the exam.

Online registration ensures completion on schedule, creating convenience for candidates. Preparations for the exam are carried out in accordance with the direction of the Provincial High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee in 2025 in each stage from guiding students to review, preparing facilities, training to organize the exam, closely and effectively coordinating with localities and police forces, health, electricity, youth union... to develop plans to ensure security and order, traffic safety, food safety, fire prevention, natural disasters, support for exam season...

In addition, schools and localities have reviewed candidates with difficult circumstances to promptly support them in taking the exam.

Appreciating the province's thoughtful and thorough preparations for the 2025 high school graduation exam, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son requested the province to continue to direct the organization of the exam as planned, ensuring requirements, fully implementing regulations and doing a good job of marking the exam.

The Minister of Education and Training noted that in the process of rearranging administrative units, the province needs to prioritize the goal of ensuring the normal operation of educational institutions; avoid mechanically merging educational institutions without a thorough assessment; the review and rearrangement should only be carried out after the new apparatus has stabilized and been comprehensively assessed.

At the same time, the province is requested to pay attention to arranging civil servants in charge of education at the commune level appropriately; ensuring fairness in access to education and thorough preparation for the new school year. In the immediate future, it is necessary to maintain the status quo of educational institutions and carefully calculate the allocation of human resources for education management at the commune level.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong emphasized: Vinh Phuc always pays attention to investing in the development of education and training. With the tradition of studiousness of the people, the provincial education sector has achieved many achievements, the quality of education in Vinh Phuc is always in the top of the country. In 2025, the high school graduation exam will take place in a special context, so the province will pay more attention and closely monitor the direction of organizing the high school graduation exam well.

Vinh Phuc province fully accepts the opinions, instructions and directions of Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son; continues to maintain existing schools, does not mechanically merge the education network; continues to invest in facilities and ensure the teaching staff for the education and training sector of the new province to strive to make Phu Tho province the leading province in the education sector.

At the working session, the Ministry of Education and Training's Working Group inspected the organization of the exam at two exam sites: Hai Ba Trung High School (Phuc Yen) and Tran Phu High School (the old Vinh Phuc Specialized High School on Chu Van An Street, Lien Bao Ward, Vinh Yen City).

At the examination sites, the Ministry of Education and Training delegation highly appreciated the careful preparation of the examination organization stages of the examination sites; visited and encouraged the staff of the examination sites to work with the highest sense of responsibility, ensuring compliance with regulations and rules; visited, encouraged and wished the candidates to be calm, confident, and to develop their full capacity to do well on the test and achieve high results; visited and encouraged the parents of children at the examination sites to feel secure and accompany the candidates to "pass the exam".

The Ministry of Education and Training delegation also visited the newly built Tran Phu High School and highly appreciated the school's design as well as Vinh Phuc's investment in educational facilities with the emulation tradition of "Good Teaching - Good Learning".
