On the morning of November 18, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh joined the people of Giang Dinh Residential Group, Tien Dien Town, Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh Province in celebrating the National Great Unity Day.
Attending the National Solidarity Day at Giang Dinh Residential Group, Tien Dien Town, on the provincial leadership side, there were Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, Standing Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council Tran Tu Anh, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong - Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police.
Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" "All people unite to join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", Giang Dinh residential group has achieved many practical results, the material and spiritual life of the people has been gradually improved; security and social order have been maintained; the relationship between people has become increasingly close and united.
Under the leadership of the Party cell committee, the Front Work Committee has coordinated with socio- political organizations, self-management groups, and residential areas to carry out widespread, practical, and effective movements.
In 2023, Giang Dinh residential group has no more poor households, only 4 near-poor households, 26 households with average living standards, the rate of well-off and rich households is over 65%. Average income per capita is estimated at 55.2 million VND/year. The rate of households achieving the title of "Cultural Family" is 93.6%; cultural and sports households are 68%; 3/9 self-governing groups have achieved the title of "Typical self-governing group"; propaganda and mobilization for 100% of households to sign a commitment to implement the Nghi Xuan code of conduct.
The above results are thanks to the good work of propaganda and mobilization of people to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws as well as the village's covenant. Thereby, the village spirit and neighborhood spirit are aroused, people always strengthen the spirit of solidarity and cohesion, contributing to the implementation of socio-economic, security and defense targets in the locality...
Speaking to the people, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh expressed his joy at the changes in the locality. The Party Committee and the Front Committee of the residential group have focused on economic development, building civilized urban areas, and people's lives have increasingly improved.
Minister Dang Quoc Khanh hopes that Tien Dien town in general and Giang Dinh residential group in particular will continue to consolidate and strengthen the great national unity bloc; promote democracy; preserve and cultivate village and neighborhood sentiment; put the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" and civilized urban construction activities into practice and sustainability in association with other campaigns and patriotic emulation movements.
Minister Dang Quoc Khanh requested that leaders and authorities at all levels of Ha Tinh in general and Nghi Xuan district in particular always pay attention to developing the material and spiritual life of the people. Focus on investing in infrastructure, coordinate with the people to contribute to building all levels from residential groups, towns, and districts to always be the leading units in the whole province.
The Minister also suggested focusing on investing in restoring and renovating historical sites so that the younger generation will grow up remembering and being proud of the heroic tradition of their homeland, striving to study and participate in building and developing the country in general and the province in particular.
Informing the people, climate change has been and is having complicated developments, Ha Tinh in general and Nghi Xuan district in particular are always affected by natural disasters such as storms, floods, unusual heat waves, etc. Therefore, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh requested that authorities at all levels and people need to pay attention, proactively respond to climate change, and protect the environment to keep the homeland green, clean and beautiful.
Also on the morning of November 18, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh and the delegation offered incense and flowers at the Nguyen Cong Tru National Historical and Cultural Relic Site, the Memorial Site and Tomb of Great Poet Nguyen Du; and congratulated teachers of Tien Dien Town Primary School, Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh Province on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20. Minister Dang Quoc Khanh and the delegation visited and expressed condolences to the family of Captain Tran Trung Hieu, a police officer of Xuan Hong Commune, Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh Province, who died while on duty.
