(DN) - On the afternoon of July 18, Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department held a conference to review tax work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

According to the records of Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department, in the first 6 months of the year, in the context of many fluctuations in the world economy and many changes in global tax policies, Vietnam still maintained macroeconomic stability, controlled inflation and had positive growth. Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department has effectively implemented tax tasks in the area.

In the first 6 months of the year, the tax sector has closely followed the directions and operations of the Government, the Ministry of Finance ... to implement socio-economic development targets. Proactively developing, promulgating and implementing a series of key work plans such as: annual work program; propaganda and support for taxpayers; reforming administrative procedures; inspection and examination against revenue loss; analyzing revenue sources and handling tax debts; organizing dialogues, supporting tax settlement in 2024 for businesses, and effectively implementing support policies under the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Department.

In addition, attention has been paid to supporting taxpayers, implementing many forms of support via phone, direct answers at tax authorities, in writing; supporting tax policies on social networking platforms, electronic tax systems such as: handling feedback on the ETAX system, Zalo channel, training classes...

According to the tax industry's assessment, in the first 6 months of 2025, the two localities of Dong Nai (old) and Binh Phuoc (old) both achieved the estimated progress (over 50%) and both grew compared to the same period.

To complete the tax collection task in the last 6 months of the year, Head of Dong Nai Province Tax Nguyen Toan Thang requested the entire Dong Nai tax sector to uphold the spirit of patriotic emulation, strive, and be determined to overcome difficulties and challenges to excellently complete the assigned tasks. At the same time, strive to contribute to the completion of the socio-economic development goals and tasks of the province, as well as excellently complete the domestic budget collection task assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the Provincial People's Committee in 2025 and the following years.
