At the meeting, Chief of the Ministry's Office Vu Dang Minh reported on the situation of the Lunar New Year 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Accordingly, implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW dated December 11, 2024 of the Secretariat on organizing the Lunar New Year 2025 and Directive No. 45/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister : On strengthening measures to ensure a joyful, healthy, safe and economical Lunar New Year 2025, the leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs have thoroughly instructed civil servants, public employees and workers to strictly implement the Regulations of the Central Executive Committee on the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members and to effectively implement the work of practicing thrift and combating waste. Officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Home Affairs must not use public vehicles and assets contrary to regulations for personal activities before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025.

During the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday (before, during and after Tet), all civil servants, public employees and employees of the Ministry of Home Affairs must strictly comply with all policies of the Party, policies and laws of the State; strictly comply with Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019 of the Government on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road and railway traffic; Decree 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government on administrative sanctions for violations of traffic order and safety in the field of road traffic; deduct points, restore points of driving licenses; do not use public vehicles or administrative time to go to festivals.

Focus on advising on the completion of the organizational arrangement of the Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies and 63 provinces and cities. In particular, advise and carefully prepare for the first meeting of the Government Party Executive Committee, personnel work and the consolidation and completion of the activities of Party Committees directly under the Government Party Committee (Party Committees of Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies);

Urgently and qualitatively complete the Law on Government Organization (amended), the Law on Local Government Organization (amended) and 02 Resolutions (Resolution on Government organizational structure and Resolution on the number of Government members) and complete all documents to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee according to the assigned schedule to submit to the National Assembly for approval of dismissal and appointment of Government members; tasks in the 2025 Work Program; carefully prepare for the merger between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in the spirit of solidarity, attachment, sharing, joint efforts and hearts so that the Ministry of Home Affairs can continuously develop;...
