Fostering skills and specialized expertise in beliefs and religions

DNO – On October 15 and 16, in Tam Ky ward, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Da Nang city organized a conference to disseminate and thoroughly understand the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State and to foster skills and specialized expertise on beliefs and religions in 2025 for cadres and civil servants working in religious affairs in the city.

At the conference, delegates were presented with topics on the Party's viewpoints, the State's legal policies on religious beliefs; religious work in the city and issues raised; and thoroughly grasped documents of the Central and the city on beliefs and religions.

In addition, delegates discussed and shared experiences and difficulties and obstacles in practical work to resolve them together. Thereby, religious work and state management of beliefs and religions in practice at the local level in the new situation can be better implemented.

Currently, in Da Nang city, there are 17 religious organizations belonging to 7 different religions, 635 legal religious establishments, with nearly 430 thousand followers, accounting for more than 14% of the city's population.
