
At the workshop, managers and experts focused on exchanging, discussing and finding solutions for Da Nang tourism development in the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; positioning Da Nang tourism brand and market product development strategy.
Discuss the exploitation of heritage and indigenous cultural values to develop unique tourism products to attract tourists; improve the quality of tourism services and human resources; propose ideas for organizing festivals and cultural - sports - tourism events to attract visitors.

According to Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Nguyen Trung Khanh, in the period of 2026 - 2030, Vietnam tourism will strongly shift to green tourism trends, applying technology to bring diverse experience values, high quality, towards inclusive goals of economic and social efficiency.
In that general context, Da Nang needs to determine the goal by 2030, positioning Da Nang tourism brand to become the leading international tourism center in the region, a high-quality coastal resort, festival, event, creative city... in Southeast Asia.
At the same time, continue to improve connectivity and tourism infrastructure conditions; develop and enhance the quality of unique tourism products and diversify experience values; focus on environmental protection, develop green tourism; research and issue specific support policies and destination management.
The workshop “Orientation for Da Nang tourism development in the new period” is a necessary activity for the city to reposition its destination brand and specific solutions to restructure, accelerate and break through the tourism industry; actively contributing to the target of double-digit growth in 2025 and the coming period.
Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Truong Thi Hong Hanh said that Da Nang is entering a new context with a development space that is more than 10 times larger than before, along with a large population and diverse resources, which is expected to bring great opportunities for the tourism industry.
This is the necessary time to implement adjustments to the planning orientation for tourism development in the new Da Nang city and seek solutions to effectively exploit resources associated with traditional values, history and rich indigenous culture of the land of Quang.
New ideas, good initiatives, and feasible solutions for Da Nang tourism development at the workshop will be absorbed and researched for implementation by the tourism industry in the coming time.
