Training on foreign information work in 2023

On the afternoon of December 12, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - the Standing Agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Work organized a training course on external information work in 2023.

Attending the training course were leaders of Brigade 131 - Navy; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; members of the Provincial Steering Committee for External Information Work; leaders of the Propaganda Departments of districts, city Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees; Central reporters working in the province, provincial reporters; and cadres participating in external information work at agencies and units in the province.

At the training course, delegates were informed by the reporter about the topics: "Some new activities in the East Sea; viewpoints, policies, and solutions to fight to protect Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands"; "The context of the world situation and some contents on foreign information work of Ninh Binh province in the coming time".

Speaking at the training course, the leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized: In recent years, the external information work of Ninh Binh province has always received attention from leaders, and has been directed and implemented in a more synchronous manner. The working methods have been innovated and more flexible; the participating forces have been strengthened; the target areas have been expanded, and the activities have been more effective.

External information work plays an important role in propagating and promoting the province's potentials and strengths to international friends, enhancing the province's position; consolidating and expanding relations with countries and international organizations, promoting economic cooperation, attracting investment, promoting trade, and developing tourism.

The topics selected to be taught in the training course are practical and topical issues. Through the training course, the aim is to provide more information, equip trainees with professional skills, advisory capacity and effective application to specific conditions of the locality and unit, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of the province's external information work.
