Brad Pitt returns with “F1® Movie”

The 2025 summer movie season has another eye-catching acceleration when the blockbuster “F1® Movie” officially hits theaters from June 27. The film marks the impressive return of actor Brad Pitt, under the "molding" hands of director Joseph Kosinski - the man behind the success of the billion-dollar blockbuster "Top Gun: Maverick".

In the film, Brad Pitt plays Sonny Hayes - a legendary Formula 1 racer who was forced to leave the track after a serious accident. Years later, he is invited back by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (played by Javier Bardem), now the owner of a racing team on the brink of bankruptcy. Faced with a last chance to redeem himself and prove his worth, Sonny teams up with young racer Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) on a pressure-filled journey where the past, speed and competition always lurk.

The unique feature that makes “F1® Movie” the most anticipated work is the participation of famous real-life F1 racers: Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., George Russell... One of the legends of Formula 1 racing - Lewis Hamilton also takes on the role of co-producer, contributing to ensuring the authenticity of the techniques and atmosphere of the race. The film is filmed live at the F1 races of the 2023 - 2024 season, including the Grand Prix in England, with a special racing car built by Mercedes specifically for the fictional Apex GP racing team.

Brad Pitt underwent special training to drive on the track himself, and received a salary of up to 30 million USD, the highest in his film career. After a private screening, F1 racers all rated "F1® Movie" as a work that is "authentic", "exciting" and "could become the biggest blockbuster of the year".

Not only conquering with images of speed, “F1® Movie” also has the hit soundtrack album “F1: The Album”, with the participation of Rosé (member of the band BLACKPINK), Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, Tiësto...
