Collection "Thuy Vu Nghenh Hy" - National pride to celebrate 70 years of Liberation of the Capital

On the evening of October 4, the 2024 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival officially opened with an impressive art night recalling the heroic years of Hanoi exactly 70 years ago.

Designer Vu Thao Giang recreated the image of Hanoi girls in the past joyfully welcoming the liberation army. The audience relived the heroic atmosphere with the Ao Dai on the Capital Liberation Day 70 years ago, recreated on stage with the song Tien Ve Ha Noi . The collection "Thuy Vu Nghenh Hy" by designer Vu Thao Giang was inspired by the memory of the Ao Dai with the beauty of Hanoi girls from the 1950s to the end of the 20th century.

Designer Vu Thao Giang shared: "I was very moved to perform the collection "Thuy Vu Nghenh Hy" to open Chapter 1 of Golden History at the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2024. This is the third consecutive year attending the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival, I feel the meaning of the festival being organized to contribute to building a cultural and tourism product, promoting the image of the capital Hanoi. The event aims to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, exploit and honor the unique beauty of Vietnamese culture with the national Ao Dai".

The collection "Thuy Vu Nghenh Hy" seems to convey the designer's desire to welcome good omens and wishes for Vietnam: National peace and people's security - favorable weather. The collection of the 9X female designer has brought a very special new creative design because most of the shirts have a sub-layer design that can flexibly transform the shirt, 4 graceful and fluttering flaps.

Through the designs of Ao Dai, designer Vu Thao Giang not only honors the beauty of ladies, Hanoi ladies gracefully wear traditional Ao Dai, captivating the hearts of many lovers of the beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai, on the opening night of the 2024 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival.

Vu Thao Giang chose to combine many high-quality materials such as velvet silk, satin silk, shiny silk... to highlight the collection. The motifs on the skirts of the dresses, familiar images of Thang Long Ha Thanh along with extremely rare Hang Trong paintings honoring the "jade figure" of ancient Trang An women have become immutable values in the flow of national culture.

The collection is a harmonious combination of the image of a young woman showing off her elegance in the traditional long dress and the beauty of the yếm đào dress in elegant and discreet colors, which is the measure of the beauty of Vietnamese women in the past.

The 2024 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival has received much praise from the public since its opening. The festival was elaborately invested in, on a large scale, attracting the participation of 6 artisans, 85 designers from the three regions of North - Central - South; nearly 100 booths of designers, Ao Dai brands, accessory establishments, travel businesses... Taking place over three days, from October 4 to 6, the 2024 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival brings many attractive experiences to people and tourists.
