Bui Truong Sinh had a convincing victory over champion Kun Bokator Athchey Chanreach.

As the highlight match of the first night of the GMA 2025 season, the confrontation between Truong Sinh and champion Kun Bokator Athchey Chanreach from Cambodia attracted great attention from experts and audiences.

Against an experienced opponent, Truong Sinh started out cautiously. However, in a decisive moment, he found space to deliver an accurate flying knee strike, causing his opponent to collapse and be unable to continue the fight.

The impressive victory helped Truong Sinh become the first Vietnamese martial artist to successfully defend his title in the new season. With the advanced format of this year's GMA - confrontation between Vietnamese martial artists and international representatives who have achieved the title of "Regional Martial God" - Truong Sinh's victory could not have been a better start.

GMA 05 also witnessed many other exciting matches. Cambodia Top Team fighters regained their honor with victories by Long La, Sopanha Pheng and Rin Saroth. On the Vietnamese side, Nguyen Thanh Duy (Lien Phong MMA), Tran Thanh Sang (TFC - MMA Bien Hoa) and Tran Thanh Sang all left their mark with convincing victories.

The fastest match ended was Lau Yik Long (Malaysia), when he defeated his opponent in just 89 seconds. The only match that had to end early due to a foul was the match between Le Huy Hoang and Ben Tu Tai.

The God of War Convergence marks a major turning point for GMA in its journey to affirm “Vietnamese Martial God” at the regional level, aiming for the ultimate title among the top martial artists in Southeast Asia.
