These days in Vinh city, Nghe An , many garden owners and traders from all over bring Dien grapefruit, Nhat Tan peach, kumquat, orchid, apricot... to sell, serving the needs of people to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.

This year in Vinh city, there appeared a series of Dien grapefruit trees with Tam Da style (meaning having 3 branches).

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien (52 years old, residing in Nam Dan district, Nghe An), said that his family brought about 100 Dien grapefruit trees from the North to sell.

Most notable is the Dien grapefruit tree in the Tam Da style, over 4m tall with more than 100 fruits, for sale at 80 million VND.

The grapefruit tree has the shape of Tam Da, symbolizing Phuc - Loc - Tho, which is believed to bring luck, fortune and health to the owner, so it is sold at a fairly high price.

Dien grapefruit trees in the Tam Da style are laden with fruit. According to grapefruit traders, these trees are brought from Hung Yen to Vinh city to sell during the Lunar New Year.

According to the wholesaler, they have now sold dozens of trees for 20-30 million VND. When customers buy trees, the seller will deliver them to their homes and show them how to care for them.
