General Hospital No. 2: Exciting activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union on October 20 and Vietnam Nursing Day on October 26

From October 18-19, 2025, Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital No. 2 organized a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025); 35th anniversary of Vietnam Nursing Day (October 26, 1990 - October 26, 2025).

Specifically, the hospital organized a Pickleball tournament and a flower arrangement competition for the hospital staff. For the Pickleball tournament, the Organizing Committee organized competitions for men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. For the flower arrangement competition, 11 Party cells corresponding to 11 teams demonstrated their sophistication, dexterity, and agility. Within the allotted time of 40 minutes, the teams completed many highly artistic works. Among them, many works were meticulously invested in both flower types, ideas, and artistry. In addition, the presentation of the work also brought emotions, messages full of humanity and noble meanings about the image of Vietnamese women in general and female medical staff in particular.

At the end of the program, the judges scored and awarded the first, second, and third prizes for Pickleball men's doubles; mixed doubles and women's doubles. First, second, third, and consolation prizes were awarded to the flower arrangement teams. Thereby, the first, second, and third prizes were awarded to the 11 party cells participating in the competition.

The activities were held in a joyful and exciting atmosphere, thereby continuing to promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"; Promote the movement of physical exercise in the unit, the art of flower arrangement, creativity. Create a useful playground, promote creativity for all officers and employees of the unit. At the same time, create exchanges, solidarity, and mutual attachment between centers, departments, rooms, and divisions under the hospital; thereby contributing to the successful completion of professional tasks.
