Ready for the Fall Fair

Following the success of the National Achievement Exhibition “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey”, the 2025 Autumn Fair is held from October 26 to November 4 to promote domestic market development, stimulate consumption, connect supply and demand and supply chains.

At the launching conference in early October, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized: This is the largest fair ever held in the most modern exhibition center, with the largest number of participants ever. Therefore, successfully organizing the fair is both a political and an economic task. The fair will be maintained annually, not only at the national level but also at the regional level. This is a policy tool to "Renew the old growth engine", actively contributing to promoting growth and socio-economic development.

With the message "Connecting people with production and business", the 2025 Autumn Fair is chaired and organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade ; co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee; ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, Vingroup Corporation/Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) and People's Committees of provinces and cities in coordination. The fair is held at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi; the expected scale is the entire Kim Quy Exhibition House, with a floor area of ​​over 100,000 ^m2 , corresponding to 5 sub-zones and about 3,000 standard booths.

In recent days, the Steering Committee of the Lao Cai Autumn Fair has been actively implementing tasks to ensure progress. Participating in this Fair, Lao Cai will display products at the Exhibition Area of ​​typical products of the province in the "Autumn of Vietnam - The color of water and the fragrance of autumn" sub-area and the booth of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the "Cultural industry - The first golden season" sub-area.

The exhibition area for typical products of Lao Cai province has the theme "Lao Cai - Connection and Development" with an area of ^​​200m2 designed in the model of mountain ranges like lotus petals - the national flower of Vietnam. This exhibition model not only recreates the unique natural beauty of Lao Cai but also cleverly integrates images and information about the culture, people and development potential of the province. The exhibition area is divided into many model clusters, including two main gates and two side gates, creating an open space, inviting visitors to explore. The center of the booth is a 4-sided LED block, displaying vivid videos and images, providing a comprehensive view of the development and potential of Lao Cai in the future.

In particular, the exhibition space also has a small stage suitable for performing unique folk art performances, such as: Khen dance, singing, Mong flute playing, Sinh Tien stick dance, Thai xoe dance; brocade costume performance; reenactment of festivals and organization of tea culture space. Around the booth are placed three-tiered shelves, hexagonal shelves to display products, negotiation tables and lighting systems, brocade lanterns, fresh flowers, and ornamental plants.

Currently, more than 20 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households have registered to participate with products such as: iron ore, copper ore, fertilizer, stone powder, Nasaki colored tiles, planted forest wood, Bat Do bamboo shoots, mulberry silk, tea, cinnamon products, essential oils, wine products, tea products, medicinal herbs, etc.

Participation in the Fair will be a concentrated trade promotion channel, creating an environment to connect supply and demand, stimulate consumption, promote production and business, and expand import and export for enterprises in the province.

The 2025 Autumn Fair will not only create a channel to promote trade and investment; boost production; support businesses, cooperatives, craft villages, and industry associations in the province, but also contribute to introducing and promoting unique Lao Cai tourism products to partners and domestic and foreign tourists.

This time, the exhibition area promotes tourism images and products with the theme "Lao Cai - Where the colors of the Northwest converge". This idea is inspired by Fansipan peak, terraced fields, highland markets, brocade patterns as the main images. The exhibition area will arrange consulting and information booths; publications and documents promoting unique tourist destinations of the National Tourist Areas of Sa Pa, Bac Ha, Bat Xat, Bao Yen, Muong Lo, Mu Cang Chai...; providing and answering information about Lao Cai tourism for businesses and tourists. In particular, smart tourism kiosks are also used to show videos introducing the potential and strengths of Lao Cai tourism. The staff will also assist visitors in searching for information online about Lao Cai tourism on electronic information sites, social networking sites, and experiencing digital technology: virtual reality tourism, VR 360... Notably, traditional crafts, such as beeswax painting and brocade embroidery, will be demonstrated, creating opportunities for visitors to experience.

Mr. Pham Tat Thanh - Director of the Provincial Tourism Information and Promotion Center said: "At the Exhibition Space of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the exhibition booth of Lao Cai province is at No. 18. Currently, there are a number of tourism units registered to participate. We will coordinate with travel, transportation and accommodation units to organize entertainment programs, mini games to give discount vouchers to customers divided into golden hours".
