Actively propagate and mobilize the people

In each neighborhood, members of the Association of War Veterans in Phan Rang Ward are always exemplary in life, at the same time upholding the spirit of responsibility, actively propagating and mobilizing people to comply with the Party's policies and guidelines, living and working according to local laws and regulations, building solidarity and close-knit village and neighborhood relationships. A typical example is Mr. Phan Tan Dung - Head of Residential Group 26, despite his old age, he is still diligently involved in propaganda, mediation and mobilization work at the grassroots level. Mr. Dung shared: "I myself am a third-class disabled veteran, attached to the association's work for more than 21 years. Now, despite my old age, I still visit and discuss the situation with the people every day, then reconcile any conflicts if any; propagandize and mobilize people to participate in protecting security and order, maintaining urban hygiene and order. Being trusted by the people is a great encouragement for me."

Outstanding members like Mr. Dung have helped the "Exemplary Veteran" movement in Phan Rang Ward spread strongly. In the past 3 years, officers and members of the Ward Veterans Association have successfully mediated more than 30 cases; organized and coordinated over 20 sessions to disseminate laws, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, attracting a large number of people to participate. Thereby, people's awareness of law compliance has been raised, village and neighborhood ties have been strengthened, and residential areas have become increasingly stable and civilized.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Minh - Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Phan Rang Ward said: "The Association always identifies propaganda and mobilization as a key and regular task. In each neighborhood, cadres and members are the bridge between the Party, the government and the people. It is the closeness, responsibility and perseverance in mobilization that has created trust and consensus, contributing to preventing violations of the law and social evils from the grassroots level."

Join hands to maintain security and order in residential areas

Phan Rang Ward Veterans Association is currently maintaining many effective operating models such as: "Self-managed Veterans Association on security and order associated with ensuring traffic safety", "Security - reconciliation team in residential areas", "Crime reporting mailbox". In the past 3 years, the association has sent more than 150 members to join the functional forces in carrying out more than 50 patrols and 210 community activities, contributing to preventing law violations, ensuring security and order and building a clean and beautiful residential landscape.

In Residential Group 33, the footsteps of Mr. Dam Van Hung - Head of the Veterans Association, Deputy Head of the Security and Order Protection Team at the grassroots level, are still regular on the streets regardless of day or night. Not only participating in patrols, he also regularly goes with the members of the team to each household to propagate and mobilize to raise awareness of self-compliance with regulations on security and order, environmental sanitation, and prevention of social evils. Mr. Hung shared: "We always consider propaganda and mobilization as a daily task. Each member must be able to say and do so that people can follow. Even though we go early and come back late, when we see the peaceful neighborhood, everyone feels happy and warm-hearted!"

From propaganda sessions to late night patrols, the image of the war veterans is present quietly and closely. The soldiers of the past, now returning to civilian life, continue to keep their oath with concrete, practical actions, contributing to maintaining peace, solidarity and trust in the homeland.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Minh said: "In the coming time, the association will continue to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", closely following the motto "Each cadre and member of the Veterans Association is an active propagandist"; continue to replicate effective propaganda models; actively coordinate with the police, the Fatherland Front and organizations to effectively ensure security and order, contributing to building a civilized and modern locality".
