After the merger, the entire Ca Mau province will recruit, train and provide vocational training for 41,500 people, the rate of trained workers by the end of 2025 will reach 65% (of which 27.5% will have diplomas and certificates).
According to statistics, up to now, the whole province has trained and fostered 29,654/41,500 people, reaching 71.45% of the plan (including: 448 college, 223 intermediate, 2,153 primary, training under 3 months, regular 26,830 people).
Through reviewing and understanding the situation when implementing the 2-level government model, it is currently found that vocational training in localities is facing difficulties in vocational training capital.
Up to now, communes and wards in the province have not been allocated capital for the two National Target Programs (new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction) to carry out the task of vocational training for rural workers.

The Department of Education and Training has sent an official dispatch requesting the Department of Agriculture and Environment to have a plan to adjust the allocation of implementation capital to the People's Committees at the commune level, but has not yet received a response.
The Department of Education and Training recommends that the Provincial People's Committee direct the Department of Finance and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to promptly advise on the allocation and assignment of the 2025 budget for Ca Mau province (after consolidation) of capital for the 2 National Target Programs on new rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction to the People's Committees at the commune level for local implementation, because the time to complete the opening of classes and settlement of vocational training classes is at least 3 months, if delayed, it will be difficult to achieve the target.
