Ca Mau: One person seriously injured after being hit by a drone

On June 15, Ca Mau General Hospital announced that the health of Mr. Tran Van Han (born in 1976, residing in Khanh Hoi commune, U Minh district) - the victim in the accident involving a drone - has temporarily stabilized after a period of treatment.

The victim is being treated at Ca Mau General Hospital.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on June 14, Mr. Han was driving a motorbike on a rural road in Hamlet 8 (Khanh Hoi Commune) when suddenly a drone that was spreading rice fertilizer crashed into him, causing him to lose consciousness on the spot. The drone's propeller broke his facial bones, injured his eyes, and caused him to lose consciousness on the spot.

Immediately after the incident, the field owner and the equipment operator took the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment.

According to Ca Mau General Hospital, Mr. Han was admitted with multiple head and facial injuries. Doctors treated the open wounds. The victim suffered a broken nose and chin, and vision loss in his right eye due to impact with the drone propeller.
