The Ca Mau Marathon 2025 is part of the program "Ca Mau - Destination 2025" associated with the series of activities of the Ca Mau Crab Festival - the second time in 2025 to promote and introduce the image, culture, people and products of Ca Mau land.

The event contributes to promoting the local image through cultural and sports activities and tourism products; creating highlights to attract tourists; introducing the potential and strengths of the locality, especially the image of the country, culture and people of Ca Mau.

In addition, the program also promotes and raises awareness in the community about physical exercise to improve health, stature and quality of life; continues to promote the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

This year, the Ca Mau Marathon 2025 continues to be accompanied and organized in Ca Mau province, with an expected number of athletes of up to 6,000 people in 5 distances: 42km, 21km, 10km, 5km and 2km.

Through the tournament, the organizers want to convey the highlights and unique features of tours, tourist routes, and booths displaying local specialties, contributing to promoting the image of the country, culture and people of Ca Mau to domestic and foreign friends.

It is a safe destination, with amazing natural landscapes, fresh climate, and a land of gentle, honest, loyal, and hospitable people.

It is a land of diverse culture, beliefs, customs, and many typical products... The race contributes to promoting the relationship of exchange and cooperation with provinces and cities; domestic and international organizations to visit and learn, is an opportunity for investors, tourism experts, and travel companies to approach, survey, and learn about the potential, advantages, and investment incentive policies of the province, especially tourism.

The special thing about this year is that the race is held for the first time in Bac Lieu ward (formerly Bac Lieu city, belonging to the old Bac Lieu province).

Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province - shared: "After the two provinces of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu were merged into one, the whole province has more opportunities and potential for development. Therefore, we wish to bring the race to Bac Lieu ward to promote the image of the country, people and demonstrate the spirit of solidarity and cooperation of the Vietnamese people".
