[Video] Proposal to increase special allowances for civil servants and health officials

The Ministry of Justice has just announced the appraisal dossier of the draft Decree on a number of special allowance regimes for civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in public health facilities; anti-epidemic allowances; support for medical staff in villages, residential groups and midwives in villages and hamlets developed by the Ministry of Health.

The draft stipulates that the head of the medical examination and treatment facility decides to arrange shifts and overtime; in case of shortage of human resources, arrange 24/7 duty.

24/7 on-call allowance: VND 325,000/session for special class, class I; VND 255,000 for class II and related forensic and criminal technical units; VND 185,000 for remaining facilities and outpatient emergency; VND 70,000 for commune health stations and similar units.

Resident allowance for outpatient care is 160,000; 125,000; 90,000; 35,000 VND/session.

24/7 on-call staff are supported with 40,000 VND/shift for meals; are given 1 day off (weekdays, holidays) or 2 days off (holidays, Tet). Overtime and night shifts are paid according to labor law.
