Ca Mau shines with cultural colors through the 263rd "Ancient Music Moonlight" event.

The 263rd "Ancient Music Moonlight" art program took place on the evening of April 26th at Hung Vuong Square (Bac Lieu Ward) in a solemn atmosphere, rich in Southern Vietnamese cultural identity.

The program, a collaboration between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television (HTV), was broadcast live on HTV1, HTV's digital platforms, and the CTV channel of Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio and Television.

Attending the event were comrades: Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province; along with comrades in the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of departments and agencies.

The program brings together many renowned artists such as People's Artist Thanh Nam, People's Artist Trong Huu, People's Artist Thanh Ngan, People's Artist Trong Phuc, etc., offering a spectacular artistic "feast" with a blend of traditional Vietnamese opera, folk music, and classical music.

The song "Dạ cổ hoài lang" was performed by Meritorious Artist Võ Minh Lâm and Meritorious Artist Ngọc Đợi.

The musical performance "Southern Charm - Ca Mau Song" is performed by People's Artist Trong Huu and Meritorious Artist Cam Tien.

The traditional folk song "New Clothes of Ca Mau" is performed with the sweet voices of People's Artist Trong Phuc and People's Artist Ho Ngoc Trinh.

With the theme "Ca Mau - Homeland in a New Era," performances such as "Fisherman's Song - The Song of Shrimp and Fish," "Down the Mekong River," "The Land and Sky of Bac Lieu - Bac Lieu, the Land and Sky of Love," "Song of the Southern Land," "Dạ cổ hoài lang," "New Clothes of Ca Mau," etc., vividly portrayed the simple beauty, heartfelt affection, and the strong, burgeoning vitality of this southernmost region of the country.

The vibrant fishing village scene of Ca Mau fishermen is recreated through the musical performance "The Fisherman's Voice - The Song of Shrimp and Fish".

A large audience of traditional music and folk singers came to enjoy the art program.

Meritorious Artist Vu Luan and singer Duong Hong Loan performed the musical scene "The Land and Sky of Bac Lieu - Bac Lieu, the Land and Sky of Love".

The short play "Will Ms. Tham Return to Ca Mau?" was performed by artists from Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City.

The performances in the art program "Ancient Music Under the Moonlight" reflect the transformation of Ca Mau today, showcasing vast mangrove forests, fertile shrimp farms, and wind power projects reaching out to the open sea, creating a proud image of development within the radiant picture of a Vietnam strongly integrating and developing.

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate the artists and performers participating in the 263rd "Ancient Music Under the Moonlight" art program held in Ca Mau.

The 263rd "Ancient Music Moonlight" event is part of the Science , Technology - Culture, Tourism Week and the first Mekong Delta Delicious Rice Competition in 2026 in Ca Mau, contributing to creating a cultural highlight, spreading traditional art values ​​in contemporary life and serving the people and tourists.
