According to the report, Phuoc Long Commune and Hong Dan Commune have met all 5/5 criteria for establishing wards according to Resolution No. 112 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the standards of administrative units.

Mr. Hoang Dinh Liem, Head of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, requested Phuoc Long Commune and Hong Dan Commune to continue revising their reports and prepare all necessary legal documents to ensure compliance with regulations.

Specifically, Phuoc Long commune has a population of over 40,000 people (the regulation stipulates over 21,000 people), a natural area of ​​over 98 km2 (the regulation stipulates over 5.5 km2), and an urban population of nearly 22,000 people (the regulation stipulates over 50% of the population). Phuoc Long commune has been identified by the province as the central urban area of ​​the satellite towns of Ninh Quoi, Hong Dan, and Vinh Phuoc.
