Ca Mau organizes Central Reporters Conference in August 2025

On the morning of August 15, 2025, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission held the August 2025 Central Reporters Conference in the form of direct and online broadcast to connecting points across the country. The Central connecting point was chaired by Comrade Pham Tat Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

Ca Mau province opened 01 bridge point, with participants being Central reporters working in the province, provincial reporters, representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, the Provincial Political School, cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, newspaper and radio reporters, with a total of 58 participants.

The conference listened to the leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs inform the topic "Initial results of the operation of two-level local government; issues and solutions in the coming time" . Accordingly, after more than a month of implementing the model, the two-level local government apparatus has initially operated stably and smoothly; public administrative services have been maintained continuously; political security, social order and safety have been ensured; direction and administration from the Central to the grassroots level have been synchronized; administrative procedures have been reduced, decentralization and delegation of power are clearer. Next, the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented the topic "Recent outstanding world and regional situations; impacts and policies of Vietnam" . In the context of fierce strategic competition among major countries, many regional and global hotspots are developing complicatedly, Vietnam firmly adheres to its foreign policy of independence, autonomy, multilateralization and diversification; maintaining a peaceful and stable environment; protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity; Take advantage of opportunities for cooperation and deep international integration to develop the country.

Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference and orienting the propaganda work in the coming time, comrade Pham Tat Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, suggested that in the coming time, we should focus on a number of key tasks: Extensively propagating the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; patriotic emulation congresses at all levels; Politburo directives on leading the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Stepping up propaganda to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) ; Information on outstanding results of foreign affairs activities, especially the visit to Korea by General Secretary To Lam and the visit to Egypt and Angola by President Luong Cuong; Affirming positive results in socio-economic development, especially attracting foreign investment reaching the highest level in the past 5 years, stable macro-economy, and controlled inflation.

The conference also required reporters and propagandists to closely follow the orientation, promptly convey official information, contribute to strengthening people's trust, create social consensus, and successfully carry out political tasks in 2025.
