The whole family burst into tears when the lost child was found and brought home by the police.

Receiving information that a family was frantically searching for a child (6 years old), Bac Gianh Ward Police (Quang Tri) mobilized forces to coordinate, extract security camera systems, check the area, and organize a search at night.

On the afternoon of July 21, Bac Gianh Ward Police ( Quang Tri ) received a thank you letter from Mr. Hoang Ngoc Anh, resident of Bac Gianh Ward, Quang Tri, for helping his family find his lost nephew and bring him back to his family.

Nguyen Tri Hai Dang was brought back safely to his family by Bac Gianh Ward Police to everyone's joy.

Accordingly, Nguyen Tri Hai Dang (born in 2019), son of Nguyen Tri Cuong and Hoanh Thi Minh Hue in Bac Hong Linh ward, Ha Tinh province, was taken by relatives to Quang Tri to visit his grandfather Hoang Ngoc Anh's family. At around 7:00 p.m. on July 19, the family did not see Hai Dang anywhere, so the whole family panicked, worried and reported to Bac Gianh ward police.

Upon receiving the news, that same night, Bac Gianh Ward Police mobilized forces to coordinate, extract security camera systems, check the area, and organize a search. At about 9:15 p.m. the same day, the police determined that the child was staying at a family in Tan Gianh Commune, Quang Tri Province, 15km from where the child went missing. The child was found in a safe condition and in stable mental condition. Immediately afterwards, Bac Gianh Ward Police brought the child home safely.

In his thank you letter, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Anh expressed his sincere thanks to the leaders of Quang Tri Provincial Police, the Command Board, officers and soldiers of Bac Gianh Ward Police for promptly sharing information and participating in the search to quickly find his child and return him to his family. Mr. Hoang Ngoc Anh wrote, “Our family is extremely grateful to the police force. When we discovered that he was not at home, we were really panicked. Thanks to the timely and dedicated intervention of the police officers, he was found and returned safely. That is the luckiest thing for my family at this time.

The timely search and support to bring the child back safely demonstrates the sense of responsibility, proactiveness and core role of the police force at the grassroots level in ensuring security and safety for the people.
