Coffee prices increased by 1,600 VND/kg on April 30th.

(GLO) - Coffee prices today (April 30) increased by 1,600 VND/kg, bringing the average purchase price in key growing regions to 88,100-88,600 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Gia Lai and Dak Lak , after the increase, the price of coffee reached 88,600 VND/kg. Meanwhile, in Lam Dong, the price of coffee rose to 88,100 VND/kg.

The sharp increase in domestic coffee prices on the first day of the holiday reflects positive market sentiment, as domestic supply is no longer as abundant as before and purchasing demand remains stable.

Meanwhile, the global coffee market today saw a reversal, with slight declines across both the London and New York international exchanges.

On the London exchange, Robusta coffee futures contracts for May 2026 delivery fell slightly by $37/ton to $3,664/ton; contracts for January 2027 delivery decreased by $27/ton to $3,226/ton.

Similarly, on the New York exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for May 2026 delivery reversed course and fell by 1.15 cents/lb, reaching 305.25 cents/lb; the March 2027 contract decreased slightly by 0.1 cents/lb, to 270.0 cents/lb.

Arabica coffee prices on the Brazilian exchange continued to experience mixed trading sessions. While the May 2026 contract reached 387.7 cents/lb, a slight decrease of 1.5 cents/lb, the December 2026 contract saw a slight increase of 0.1 cents/lb, reaching 335.9 cents/lb.
