This is the first product of the singer born in 2001, as a tribute and gratitude of the young generation to the great sacrifices of our ancestors, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
“Vietnamese Tradition” is a song composed by singer-lecturer Dao Nguyen Vu with the stage name Ai Nhan and composed by Chi Anh, expressing the pride and patriotism of the Vietnamese people throughout the history of building and defending the country. In the song, historical sites such as Ai Chi Lang, Bach Dang Giang… and the work Hich Tuong Si… are mentioned with pride.
Singer Duong Minh Quy said that he loves and often learns about the history of the nation. That is what makes him feel so emotional when making the MV "Vietnamese Tradition". Through this MV, the young singer born in 2001 also wants to express his love for the country and spread that to a wide audience, especially young audiences.
The song was arranged by young musician Anh Tu (TULIC), a student of artist and lecturer Dao Nguyen Vu, with rockepic elements combined with traditional instruments. The innovation has created the grandeur and explosion of rock, while preserving the cultural and identity of traditional musical instruments. The interesting point lies in the contrast and harmony between the zither, flute, two-stringed fiddle, and drum, bringing a soft tone, historical depth, evoking national emotions, the color of Vietnam blending, the contrasting electric guitar but helping the smooth melodies of traditional musical instruments, creating a feeling of "modernity in classical" and the spirit of "nationality flying on the international stage".
“For a young musician like me, when I was invited to participate in this project, I also wanted to bring the spirit of a young patriot, through a combination of epic rock & traditional instruments.” - musician Anh Tu (TULIC) shared.
The visual part was directed by Anh Quan, recording famous landscapes and historical sites in Hanoi such as: Hoan Kiem Lake, "Thien do chieu" (the scroll of the capital) 3.5 meters high, more than 8 meters wide, made of Bat Trang ceramic, copying the "Chieu doi do" of King Ly Thai To at Do Temple (Bac Ninh). Without investing billions in MV, with grandiose effects, the crew focused on depicting the content of the message and music , that's why "Truyen thong Viet Nam" is a simple, close and easy to feel musical product.

In his first MV in his career, Duong Minh Quy is more confident when accompanied by his teacher, singer and lecturer Dao Nguyen Vu, who is currently working at the Vocal Department - Vietnam National Academy of Music. The young singer said that his teacher is the one who trained him in vocal music and also the one who inspired him on his artistic path.
With the help of Mr. Dao Nguyen Vu, Duong Minh Quy passed the entrance exams to two universities: the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Central College of Art Education. Thanks to Mr. Vu's guidance, this young man from Vinh Phuc was the valedictorian of the Central College of Art Education, but he chose the Vietnam National Academy of Music - the cradle of professional vocal training.
In 2023, at the Asia- Pacific Arts Festival held in Bali, Indonesia, young Vietnamese talent Duong Minh Quy surpassed many contestants from many countries and territories to win the Gold Prize. The work that helped Minh Quy win spectacularly was the world-famous Aria by musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
