Also participating in the delegation were representatives of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council, the Department of Home Affairs, and local leaders.

The delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Huong (Binh Tri Dong ward). Her husband and son are both martyrs.
Comrade Pham Thanh Kien kindly visited and expressed his deep gratitude for the great losses and sacrifices that Mother and her family had made for the independence and freedom of the nation.
Next, the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Nhien (Binh Tri Dong ward). Her husband and son are both martyrs.
Mother currently lives with her son and his wife. Despite her old age and poor health, Mother is still lucid and is a shining example in preserving and promoting the revolutionary family tradition.
Comrade Pham Thanh Kien, on behalf of the city's leaders, sent best wishes to the mother and her relatives, affirming that the city always respects, is grateful for and takes good care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

After that, the delegation visited and paid tribute to veteran revolutionary cadre Hoang Van Tan (Binh Tan ward).
Comrade Tan joined the revolution in 1944 and was an Arbitrator of the State Economic Arbitration. He currently lives with his family, is in stable health, and continues to be a shining example for future generations to follow.

In each meeting, Comrade Pham Thanh Kien kindly asked, encouraged, and presented meaningful gifts from the city. The gifts, though simple, were imbued with the philosophy of “remembering the source of water”, demonstrating the deep concern and sincere gratitude of the Party Committee, government, and people of Ho Chi Minh City.
