TKV Group: 13th Excellent Safety and Hygiene Student Competition

On the morning of August 28, in Uong Bi ward, Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) solemnly opened the 13th Excellent Safety and Hygiene Contest in 2025. The contest took place over two days, August 28-29, as a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and towards Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Leaders of the Group and the Vietnam Coal and Minerals Trade Union presented flags to congratulate the units participating in the contest.

Over the years, TKV has always paid attention to and directed occupational safety and hygiene. Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Board of Members, the General Director and the support of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union, many resolutions, programs and plans have been implemented synchronously, contributing to raising awareness, compliance with regulations, and minimizing incidents and accidents in production. From May to July 2025, units in the Group organized grassroots competitions, attracting more than 1,000 candidates representing over 6,000 occupational safety and hygiene workers.

The 2025 Group-level competition gathered 111 contestants, divided into 37 teams from 32 units, of which 5 units participated in 2 teams. The teams competed in the form of a Gameshow with 3 parts: Start - Accelerate - Finish. This year, the competition recorded the participation of new units: Materials Joint Stock Company, Dong Ta Phoi Joint Stock Company, Miner Transportation and Shuttle Joint Stock Company, Environment Company... creating a positive ripple effect among workers and laborers.

With the spirit of solidarity, exchange and learning, the Competition is an opportunity to foster knowledge and skills on occupational safety and hygiene, contributing to improving the capacity to monitor and prevent risks in the workplace, towards the goal of safe, effective production and sustainable development of the Group.
