Male singer Du Thien returns to the music market with the MV Le Cay 3. However, during filming on May 31, he suffered a serious injury.
According to Du Thien's friends present at the scene, the male singer suffered head injuries, facial bruises, and a neck brace. The cause is believed to be due to him performing difficult and dangerous scenes in the MV himself.
Singer Du Thien shares his current health status:
On the evening of June 2, Du Thien officially spoke up to share about his injury and thanked fans for their concern and encouragement over the past few days.
“Luckily, my injury did not affect my bones, it was just a sprained neck,” Du Thien said. He said the cause of the injury was because he was quite tired from filming for 2 consecutive days, so the accident happened.
“At around 6am, everyone was tired, only a few brothers remained. My scenes were quite dangerous, with somersaults and throwing from high places. I did not use a stunt double or protective gear, so mistakes happened that led to injuries. At that time, I hit my head, neck and chest on the ground as if I was about to die. My neck was twisted, but thanks to timely first aid, I was fine,” he said.
Besides, Du Thien also expressed his indignation and called on websites to stop posting false information about him.
“Some websites reported that I had passed away. It is normal to get injured while filming an action scene, but posting that I had passed away made me think and feel sad,” he said.
Du Thien confirmed that he will try to complete and release the MV Le Cay 3 remix on June 8.
Du Thien's real name is Nguyen Minh Thuong, born on June 22, 1985. He is a pop singer, originally from Hai Duong , graduated from the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, class of 2006-2009.
