Singer Quach Thanh Danh earns 200 million VND/month without doing anything

Currently, singer Quach Thanh Danh does not directly manage the nail salon in Texas, USA, but still earns profits based on his capital contribution of about 175-200 million VND/month.

Sharing with VietNamNet, Quach Thanh Danh said that in April 2022, when he settled in the US, he boldly invested 500 thousand USD (13 billion VND) to open a nail salon in Downtown Austin, Texas.

"When I was in America, my wife was mostly at home, had no job, and was often bored. So I opened a nail salon for her to manage," the male singer said.

The salon is large, with more than 20 pedicure chairs, 16 manicure chairs and 2 eyelash extension rooms. There are more than 10 employees, mostly Vietnamese, with high skills, working in shifts with a salary of 3-9 thousand USD/month (78-235 million VND).

The first 8 months, the shop's business was not smooth, losing money every month. Later, the business situation gradually stabilized, thanks to its location in the center of Austin city and next to the cinema, so the number of customers was steady.

In early 2023, Quach Thanh Danh and his wife decided to return to Vietnam to settle down, so they transferred 50% of the investment capital to their sister.

Currently, Quach Thanh Danh is no longer in the US, so his younger brother directly manages the shop, reports finances and shares monthly profits with him. He also monitors the shop remotely via camera and controls data and work schedules on the management application.

The shop once reached a peak revenue of more than 200 thousand USD/month (more than 5.2 billion VND); now it is only about 40-50 thousand USD/month (1-1.3 billion VND). After deducting expenses, based on the current capital contribution, he earns 7-8 thousand USD/month (182-209 million VND).

However, with the initial investment, Quach Thanh Danh is satisfied with the current profit. He believes this is a stable, long-term and less risky option compared to other investment channels.
