On the morning of July 23, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting with leaders of agencies, units and localities on preparations for organizing the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 (abbreviated as Sea Festival 2025).

According to the draft plan, the 2025 Sea Festival will officially take place for 3 days (from June 7 to 9, 2025) with the theme "Khanh Hoa Sea and Island Cultural Heritage Space". Of which, there will be 3 main nights taking place at 8:00 p.m. at April 2 Square (Nha Trang City), including: Opening ceremony with the name "Bright pearl of the East Sea"; Carnaval program "Come back to the sea"; closing ceremony with the name "Sea, island of love". The opening and closing ceremonies will innovate and improve the quality of content and form compared to previous Sea Festivals, the programs will increase the attractiveness of sound, light, and stage techniques; youthful, modern content combined with water sports .

In addition, before, during and after the 3 official days, there are about 60 cultural activities, festivals, arts, sports competitions, cuisine, environmental protection, seminars, tourism, trade... such as: Fishing Festival; Bird's Nest Festival; Agarwood Festival; Ao Dai Performance Festival; Marathon; International Beach Volleyball Tournament; International Beach Soccer or Shuttlecock Tournament; International Golf Tournament; Sea Sports Tournaments; Activities to Release Marine Life to Regenerate Aquatic Resources; Sculpture Camp in the South Central Coast - Central Highlands Region; International Seminars...
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu basically agreed with the draft plan advised by the Department of Culture and Sports, and at the same time requested that the organization of activities must be improved in both scale and quality. For festivals and major sports competitions, investment is needed to successfully organize, paying attention to building a separate brand and becoming a typical activity of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.
