Which bank has the highest interest rate now?

PVcomBank applies an interest rate of up to 10%/year for a 12-13 month term with a minimum deposit of VND2,000 billion. The above interest rate applies to a fairly large deposit of VND2,000 billion.

HDBank also applies a fairly high interest rate, 8.2%/year for a 13-month term, with a much lower minimum balance requirement, only 300 billion VND.

A series of banks have continued to lower interest rates after Tet. The most recent are BacABank and Techcombank . With a 3-month term, BacABank's interest rate decreased from 3.4% to 3.2%, equivalent to a decrease of 0.2%. With a 6-month term, BacABank's interest rate decreased by 0.3% from 4.7% to 4.4%. With a 12-month term, the interest rate decreased from 5.1% to 4.8%, a decrease of 0.3%. With a 24-month term, BacABank decreased by 0.2% from 5.5% to 5.3%.

For the 3-month term, Techcombank's interest rate decreased by 0.2% from 3.3% to 3.1%. Techcombank's 6-month interest rate decreased by 0.1% from 3.8% to 3.7%.

Techcombank's 12-month interest rate decreased by 0.2% from 4.9% to 4.7%.

With a 24-month term, Techcombank reduced 0.2% from 4.9% to 4.7% respectively.

Previously, NCB was the first bank to reduce interest rates after Tet. Specifically, for the 3-month term, the interest rate decreased by 0.3% from 4.1% to 3.8%. For the 6-month term, the interest rate decreased by 0.4% from 5.05% to 4.65%. For the 12-month term, the interest rate decreased by 0.3% from 5.5% to 5.2%. For the 24-month term, the interest rate increased by 0.3% from 5.4% to 5.7%.

DongABank reduced interest rates for all terms by 0.4%. For 3-month terms, interest rates decreased from 3.9% to 3.5%. For 6-month terms, interest rates decreased from 4.9% to 4.5%. For 12-month terms, interest rates decreased from 5.4% to 5%. For 24-month terms, interest rates decreased from 5.6% to 5.2%.

Regarding lending interest rates, the State Bank said it will soon publicize the average lending interest rates of banks.

Mr. Pham Chi Quang, Director of the Monetary Policy Department (State Bank) said that February 23, 2024 is the deadline for credit institutions to report on the announcement of average lending interest rates. In the coming time, the State Bank will set up a website that concentrates all interest rate announcement links of credit institutions.
