Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy recently announced the second round of regular university admissions in 2024 for the Preventive Medicine major with 30 targets, admission combination B00, with 2 methods.
Method 1 is to consider the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, with an expected quota of 15. The condition is that the candidate has graduated from high school and the admission score (including priority points) is from 19 points or higher.
The admission score is the total score of the subjects in the registered subject group plus the priority points (if any) and is rounded to 2 decimal places.
Method 2 is to consider the results of high school study (report card) grade 12, the target (expected) is 15. The condition is that candidates graduate from high school in 2022, 2023, 2024, grade 12 academic performance is ranked from Good or higher or high school graduation score from 6.5 or higher and admission score (including priority points) from 20.8 or higher.
The admission score is the average score of the entire 12th grade of high school of the subjects in the registered subject group plus priority points (if any) and is rounded to 2 decimal places.

Previously, the University of Public Health (Hanoi) announced the enrollment of 8 additional quotas in 2024 for two majors: Social Work and Data Science .
Nam Dinh University of Nursing will recruit additional students in 2024 with 170 quotas including: Midwifery (150 quotas), Nutrition (20 quotas) with two methods: considering 2024 high school graduation exam scores and considering high school transcripts.
Additional benchmark score for Midwifery is 19 points and Nutrition is 15 points (applied to 2 admission methods).
Tokyo Medical University Vietnam will recruit additional students for the majors of Nursing, Rehabilitation Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Medical Imaging Technology until October 8. The admission score for these majors based on the 2024 high school graduation exam score is 19 points.
Phenikaa University will recruit 50 additional students for the Medical major in 2024. The additional standard score based on the 2024 high school transcript review method is 24 points.
Hong Bang International University recruits additional students for this Medical major with a minimum score of 24 points based on high school transcripts and 22.5 points based on high school graduation exam scores in 2024.
Nguyen Tat Thanh University also recruits additional students for the Medical major with a minimum score of 23 points.
After closing the admission portal, the Ministry of Education and Training recorded 551,497 candidates confirming online enrollment on the system, reaching a rate of 81.87% compared to the number of candidates admitted in the first round on the system. This year's enrollment rate is higher than last year (80.34%).
This year, the country has 733,600 candidates applying for university admission. Nearly 673,600 candidates were admitted in the first round, but more than 122,000 of them did not confirm their admission. According to the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates who were not admitted in the first round or were admitted but did not confirm their admission can register for additional admission.
Schools that need additional admission will open registration and the additional admission period will be until December 2024.
