At Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City , in the second round, 12 additional majors will be recruited according to two methods: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and admission based on the results of grade 12 transcripts.
In particular, for the Law major, the admission score from the high school graduation exam is regulated to be from 18 points or higher, in which Math and Literature (or Math or Literature in the combination) must reach at least 6 points. If considered by academic records, candidates need to achieve an average score of 12th grade subjects multiplied by a coefficient of three of 18 points, at the same time Math and Literature must not be less than 6 points.
In the remaining majors, the score for receiving applications based on high school exam results is only from 15 points. This is the lowest score in the 2025 admission season. In the method of considering transcripts, the school also only requires an average score multiplied by a coefficient of three of 17 points or higher. Similarly, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) accepts 100% online supplementary admission applications for 23 full-time training programs from now until August 31.
The school applies three admission methods with very low admission scores and is also the school's previous standard score. In which, considering the high school graduation exam score from only 15 points according to the combination of three subjects, 12th grade report card from 18 points and the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test (from 500 points). Candidates register an account and submit their application on the school's admission website, the results will be responded after 3-4 days.
Van Lang University announced additional admission to 59 regular university training majors with 5 admission methods: Considering high school graduation exam scores, considering high school transcripts, considering the competency assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, admission combined with aptitude test, admission based on the results of the computer-based university entrance assessment test (V-SAT).
The specific scores for receiving additional admission applications are as follows:

Gia Dinh University announced additional recruitment of 371 positions for 8 majors: Artificial Intelligence, International Business, Information Technology, Banking and Finance, Public Relations, Communication Technology, Financial Technology, and English Language.
Admission method:
- High school graduation exam scores 2025: from 15 points
- High school transcript score 2025: from 16 points
- HCM City National University's 2025 capacity assessment test score: from 550 points
Hong Bang International University considers additional admissions until August 31 for the following majors: Pharmacy, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Imaging Technology, Laboratory Technology, Public Health, Nutrition, Business Administration, Finance - Banking, Accounting, Financial Technology, Hotel Management, Event Management, E-commerce, English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean Languages; International Relations, Information Technology, Logistics, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Graphic Design, Architecture, Psychology, Multimedia Communications, Public Relations, Law, Educational Management, Vietnamese Studies. The application score is from 15 to 17 points.
Nguyen Tat Thanh University will conduct additional admissions from August 25 with the same admission score as the previously announced standard score. Additional admissions will be based on 3 methods: high school graduation exam scores, high school transcript scores, and the results of the competency assessment test of Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi National University.
Medical major: high school graduation exam score from 20.5; transcript score from 23; HCM City National University capacity assessment score from 650; Hanoi National University capacity assessment score from 85.
The admission scores for Dentistry are 20.5; 23; 600; 75 points respectively.
Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine are 19; 21; 570; 70 respectively. In addition, to be admitted to the above 4 majors, candidates need to have a good grade 12 academic year or a graduation score of 8 or higher.
The admission scores for the majors of Preventive Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Rehabilitation Technology are 17; 19; 550; 70. Candidates also need to have a grade 12 academic year that is assessed as Good or a graduation score of 6.5 or higher.
Law, Economic Law, Economic Law (international standard program) majors have 17 points for graduation and 18 points for academic records.
The remaining industries are 15; 18 points; 550 and 70 points.
In the public sector, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade also announced the addition of majors in Seafood Processing Technology, Materials Technology (full-time program) and Business Administration (international joint program), each major has about 30 quotas. The score for receiving applications is from 16-17 points. The school applies many admission methods and has a policy of supporting 50% of the first semester tuition for successful candidates. The deadline for receiving applications is September 20.
