Two police schools recruit additional candidates, giving candidates more chances to pass

People's Police Academy and Fire Prevention and Fighting University announce additional admission for new regular university students, accepting applications until October 27.

On October 23, the People's Police Academy announced the recruitment of 4 additional regular university students as follows:

The Fire Prevention and Fighting University also announced the recruitment of 2 quotas for the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue major according to the following methods: Direct admission; Admission combined with international language certificates, or high school graduation exam scores with the assessment test scores of the Ministry of Public Security.

The People's Police Academy and the Fire Prevention and Fighting University said that candidates are eligible to apply if they have applied to police schools but failed, or have not enrolled in schools outside the industry.

In case there are no candidates who meet the admission requirements according to each method, the admission method will be applied based on the assessment test scores from high to low until the quota is full. The admission score is the admission assessment test score of the Ministry of Public Security on a 100-point scale plus regional priority points, priority points for subjects according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, and bonus points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

The calculation formula is as follows: DXT = BTBCA + DC*10/3.

(In which DXT: admission score; BTBCA: assessment test score of the Ministry of Public Security; DC: bonus points for regional priority, subject priority and bonus points).

In case the number of candidates with the same admission score exceeds the allocated quota, schools will consider in turn the scores of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test and the scores of the multiple choice part of this test.

Candidates submit their applications to the People's Police Academy and Fire Prevention and Fighting University from now until 5:00 p.m. on October 27.

In 2025, 8 police schools will recruit 2,350 students, an increase of 200 compared to last year. This year's Ministry of Public Security's competency assessment exam attracted about 23,000 candidates, with an average competition ratio of 1/10.

Police schools apply 3 main admission methods: Combined consideration of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test scores and high school graduation exam results; Direct admission for students who have won national and international competitions; Admission based on the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test results combined with international foreign language certificates.

The first round benchmark scores of People's Police schools ranged from 15.95 to 26.28 points, in which the lowest and highest scores both belonged to People's Police University.
