Building a world-class coastline
At the meeting, the representative of the consulting unit presented the urban design idea and land use management for the area east of Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street. Accordingly, the design plan with a total length of about 16.4km along the coast and limited by Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street with a land use scale of about 253ha, divided into 4 areas according to the urban design project.

Accordingly, Zone 1 is a resort and yacht park, divided into 2 sub-zones, including: Zone 1 is a light art complex with a 2-hectare light square, with a capacity of 22,000 people; a 1.5-hectare art water music area, oriented to be a place to organize international-scale water music festival events. Along with that is the province's first therapeutic park, helping people and tourists to restore their health and promote a healthy lifestyle. Zone 2: The new marina park includes the main functions: food street, souvenir shop and community playground.
Area 2: Cultural heritage park, is the historical cultural center of the project, recreating traditional cultural spaces through outdoor exhibitions with 2 sub-areas. Sub-area 1 is a surfing park and builds a check-in chain with many spaces, such as: Coral Bay, Lionfish Bay, Dolphin Bay... Sub-area 2: Heritage park, oriented as the main nucleus of the area with multi-functional parks such as: heritage square, art stone exhibition center, outdoor sports area... This area is expected to build Yersin Museum and expand Tran Phu bridge to create a larger space to serve the community.
Area 3: The long coastal park acts as a center for sightseeing and experience tourism, and is also an international-class entertainment conference event center. April 2 Square does not stop at designing the square locally but is also the intersection connecting the surrounding areas, including the conference center, Nguyen Thi book street and surrounding hotels, becoming a highlight for the Nha Trang coast. In area 3, a sea village with a strong tropical style is also built, with the highlight being the ocean theater with modern architecture, inspired by the bird's nest. The theater is a unique combination of the provincial museum and a high-class conference center, aiming to be a symbol of the times of Nha Trang. In addition, there is also the Sailor Square where a simulation representing the Truong Sa archipelago is placed, to mark the sacred and firm sovereignty of the Vietnamese territory, the remote island border.
Area 4: Sightseeing park, is one of the most beautiful areas to see the city. This area will create a new park, serving the people of the area to access and complete the park strip along the sea; add a bicycle path along the planned road.
According to the representative of the consulting unit, the goal of the idea is to create a green walking and cycling axis connecting the entire Nha Trang coast; at the same time, organizing diverse destinations characterized by cultural, historical, landscape and culinary aspects, aiming for a different Nha Trang with the echo of a smart tourism space worth living, working and traveling.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phu - Director of the Department of Construction said that the early implementation of the urban design idea on the east side of Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street is of great significance. This is also a highlight to raise the value of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism brand to a new level. Currently, along the coast, 6 zoning plans at a scale of 1/2000 have been covered. This is an important basis for implementing projects, however, to make it happen, Nha Trang ward and Bac Nha Trang ward must urgently establish a detailed planning project at a scale of 1/500, as a basis for organizing auctions of land plots expected to call for investment outside the budget and investment in projects from public investment capital.

Mr. Chau Ngo Anh Nhan - Director of the Department of Finance said that to realize the urban design idea on the east side of Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong street, it is necessary to invest in key projects and items; the department has reviewed according to tasks, dividing into 2 groups of issues. Specifically, for public projects such as parks, expansion of Tran Phu bridge... it is necessary to invest according to capital sources from the budget. For some land plots expected to call for investment, the province needs to promptly carry out steps to recover, manage and develop an auction plan.
Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Khac Toan assessed that the area east of Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street holds many values in the development of the province. Therefore, the early implementation of the idea into practice will contribute to enhancing the value of the coastline with modern landscapes, promoting economic development, especially the night economy. Comrade Nguyen Khac Toan assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction to review key projects invested from the budget along the route, study and propose renovation contents, on that basis, synthesize the plan to submit to the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for comments to include in the medium-term public investment for the period 2026 - 2030, ensuring transparency, compliance with legal regulations, and completion before November 15. The Provincial Development Project Management Board will complete the investment policy for these projects. For the land plots east of Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street, which are expected to be called for non-budgetary investment, the People's Committees of Nha Trang Ward and Bac Nha Trang Ward, together with relevant agencies, will conduct a comprehensive review and assess the current status of existing construction works, focusing on establishing a detailed planning project of 1/500 scale, to be completed before February 1, 2026, as a basis for conducting the auction.
Regarding the Ana Mandara land plot, comrade Nguyen Khac Toan assigned the Land Fund Development Center to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to receive, manage and develop an auction plan in accordance with regulations, paying attention to ensuring compliance with approved planning, current land use status, traffic infrastructure, consistent with the province's development orientation, consistent with the approved concept project, and completed before March 1, 2026. Regarding the Sailing Club restaurant and Louisiane restaurant land plot, after the Nha Trang Ward People's Committee carried out land recovery procedures, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center received and developed an auction plan, paying attention to the construction plan of these projects with the emphasis on check-in points, night-time economic development, etc.
