Ban Bo Commune Farmers' Association: 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030

The Farmers' Association of Ban Bo commune currently has 23 branches (21 village branches, 2 professional branches). In the past term, the Association has promoted the movement "Farmers compete in production and good business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably". By the end of 2024, 32 households have achieved the title of good production and business at all levels.

Vocational training activities for farmers are of interest. The Association coordinated to organize 6 short-term vocational training courses for 180 members, after training, more than 90% have stable jobs. Coordinated to deploy loans for farmer members from the Farmers Support Fund at all levels for 4 projects with an amount of nearly 2 billion VND; coordinated with local banks to maintain loan programs for poor households and other policy beneficiaries with a total outstanding debt of nearly 28 billion VND. Through inspection, households used the capital for the right purpose.

Many effective economic models have been implemented by the Association such as: environmentally friendly rice cultivation (Hop Nhat village), tea development (Hung Phong, Na Khuong, Na Hieng villages), cassava cultivation (Na Tam, Na Van, Cooc Nooc villages)... contributing to increasing income and promoting local economic development.

In the coming term, the Farmers' Association of Ban Bo commune sets out the following tasks: promoting digital transformation in the Association's activities. Increasing tea production in Na Tam commune (old) associated with processing and consumption of products. Every year, 60% of farmer households register to achieve the title of good farmer and business households. 30% or more of farmer households meet the standards of good farmer and business households at all levels...

The delegates' presentations at the congress focused on clarifying the outstanding results in propaganda work, mobilizing members to compete in production, developing collective economy; innovating the content and methods of operation of the Association; sharing experiences in promoting the role of members in the new rural construction movement as well as proposing solutions to improve the quality of branch activities in the coming time.

Speaking at the congress, leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association and Ban Bo commune acknowledged and commended the achieved results; requested the Association to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; mobilize members to change the structure of crops and livestock; apply science and technology; build collective economic models... contributing to the successful implementation of the goals of socio-economic development and new rural construction.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Commune Farmers' Association for the 2025 - 2030 term; Comrade Vang Van Keo was trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune Farmers' Association for the 1st term, 2025 - 2030 term.
