Promoting the application of artificial intelligence in education

Tan Phong Primary School (Tan Phong Ward) is one of the leading units of the provincial Department of Education and Training in applying artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning activities, contributing to concretizing the goals of the education sector on digital transformation and the movement "Digital Education for All".

The school has promoted propaganda work, raising awareness among staff, teachers and parents about the role and benefits of AI in education. Regularly organizing thematic activities, sharing experiences in applying AI in teaching and learning, creating an innovative, creative and proactive educational environment that keeps up with the digital transformation trend of the whole industry. Thanks to the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in lesson design and creating intuitive videos , knowledge transfer has become more vivid, easier to understand and closer to students. Lessons that were dry and theoretical are now "breathed into life" with sharp illustrations, vivid short films and realistic sounds, contributing to creating an attractive and engaging learning space.

Le Viet Hoang (5A2 class student, Tan Phong Primary School) shared: “At school, teachers use projectors, TVs, and organize questions through games to make lessons more exciting and interesting. I will try my best to study to achieve many achievements, not letting down my teachers and parents.”

The promotion of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) in school administration and teaching and learning activities has brought about clear changes, contributing to improving the quality of education at the school. Mr. Nguyen Quang Tinh - Principal of Tan Phong Primary School shared: “The school actively applies digital transformation and artificial intelligence in administration, teaching and learning. This has effectively supported teachers in preparing lessons, designing exercises, looking up learning materials, thereby innovating teaching methods, improving the quality and effectiveness of learning. Thanks to that, lectures become more vivid, intuitive, and attractive; students absorb lessons faster and are more interested in learning”.

However, the deployment of AI applications in Lai Chau education also faces many difficulties and challenges in terms of technology infrastructure: in remote areas, the Internet connection is not stable; teaching equipment is lacking; the teaching staff is limited in exploiting AI tools...

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Department of Education and Training will identify a number of key orientations and solutions to continue improving the quality of teaching and learning, building a modern education system, in line with the development trend: increasing investment, upgrading information technology infrastructure, prioritizing piloting the construction of digital school models and smart classrooms in favorable locations, thereby creating a basis for replication across the province. At the same time, promoting digital capacity training for teachers and managers, especially focusing on AI application skills in teaching, testing, evaluation and school management. Continuing to widely launch emulation movements such as: "Innovation, digital transformation in education" and "Digital education for all", creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity to each school, each cadre, teacher and student... contributing to building a sustainable, modern and comprehensive learning society in the province.
