Documents of the 14th Congress: Consensus on development orientation and strategic breakthroughs

Through studying the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the majority of cadres, party members and people of Tuyen Quang province agreed with the structure and theme of the Congress, assessing that the theme fully covered the core issues in the country's development strategy, agreed on 5 guiding viewpoints, general development goals and main goals for the 2026-2030 period.

Tuyen Quang people also agree with 13 development orientations, 6 key tasks and 3 strategic breakthroughs in the coming period.

Commenting on the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the country's foundation after 40 years of renovation, Ms. Vu Thanh Nhuan, Party member, Head of the Front Work Committee of Residential Group 5 Y La, Minh Xuan Ward, shared that the report truly reflected the economic development situation of our country in the context of the world changing rapidly, complicatedly, unstable, unpredictable, difficult, especially COVID-19...

With the will, aspiration for development, innovative thinking, great efforts, and drastic actions, our Party firmly leads the country to continue to achieve very important, comprehensive, and breakthrough results with many outstanding bright spots. Specifically, economic growth in the 2021-2025 period will reach an average of about 6.3% per year. The GDP scale in 2025 is estimated to reach over 510 billion USD, 1.47 times higher than in 2020, ranking 32nd in the world , GDP per capita will reach about 5,000 USD...

In fact, in recent years, with the attention of the Party and the State, people's lives have been increasingly improved. Major policies and guidelines of the Party and the State have been widely implemented, bringing practical benefits to the people such as the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, the National Target Program on Hunger Eradication and Poverty Reduction, the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 Period, the Program on Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, etc. Thereby, rural areas, ethnic minority areas, and extremely disadvantaged areas have been invested in building infrastructure, creating conditions for people to develop the economy, take care of health and provide better learning conditions for children, etc.

According to Ms. Vu Thanh Nhuan, the assessment report needs to supplement the results of implementing the tasks of science and technology development and innovation, digital transformation, etc. In addition, the draft document needs to supplement the assessment of outstanding achievements in organizing the apparatus of the political system, Party building work, and the results of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

Regarding limitations and weaknesses, it is necessary to frankly acknowledge and clearly state solutions for implementation in the fields of land management, food safety, counterfeit goods trading, high-tech crime, etc. The report needs to evaluate more deeply the achievements that have been made, especially the assessment of "The socialist-oriented market economy continues to develop; the macro economy is stable, the growth rate is maintained at a fairly high level; the quality of growth is improved, the scale and potential of the economy are increased" to clearly demonstrate the development situation of the country.

Strengthening people's trust in the Party

Referring to the work of building the Party and the political system, Mr. Nguyen Van Anh, Trung Son commune (Tuyen Quang) expressed his agreement to continue to promote the building and rectification of a clean and strong Party and political system; resolutely fight against corruption and negativity; promote socialist democracy and people's mastery.

Along with that, we must continue to promote the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity resolutely, without stopping, without any forbidden areas, without any exceptions; improve the quality of cadres and party members; strengthen control of power, and prevent group interests. This is considered a fundamental and core issue to strengthen the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, or in other words, the "root" of all problems, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the State in the coming term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Anh also agreed to pilot the implementation of the term of office of the grassroots party cell directly under the superior party committee of the grassroots party organization to be 5 years. In addition, he agreed with the goal of rapid and sustainable national development, striving to make our country a developing country with modern industry and high average income by 2030, and a developed country with high income following the socialist orientation by 2045.

According to Mr. Anh, the document needs to clarify and analyze in depth the economic growth model associated with economic restructuring, promoting industrialization and modernization of the country; have specific and stronger policies to support farmers in applying science and technology, participating in value chains, building brands for local agricultural products, solving the problem of "good harvest, low price"; pay attention to economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; add the goal that by 2030, people will be exempted from medical examination and treatment costs.

Along with economic development, the State and localities must have solutions to protect the environment, this is an important factor for sustainable development; pay attention to investing in health development, especially human resource training, strengthening facilities, transferring new and specialized techniques to the grassroots health system.../.
