A 50kg sturgeon of Duong Yen Cooperative ( Lai Chau ) was auctioned for 102 million VND at the opening ceremony of Vietnam Agricultural Products Week 2025.

Vietnam Agricultural Products Week 2025 is an opportunity for localities to introduce and promote typical agricultural products, contributing to connecting supply and demand, promoting the consumption of Vietnamese goods and affirming the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products in the market.

Here, hundreds of unique agricultural products are introduced, creating a diverse and attractive display space, attracting a large number of people and tourists. The display area is arranged into 05 areas according to geographical regions.

34 localities, each province and city introduced a typical agricultural product of their own, reflecting the richness of the supply of Vietnamese agricultural products. Many products have affirmed their brands in the market such as: Thai Nguyen tea, Hoa Binh oranges , Buon Ma Thuot coffee, Tay Nguyen honey, ST25 rice, and many other typical regional products. The display space contributes to promoting the image of Vietnamese agricultural products and promoting the connection between supply and demand.

The highlights of the program were the launching ceremony of “Vietnam Agricultural Products Map”, the auction of large sturgeon in Lai Chau province, introducing and successfully selling 50kg sturgeon, and the livestream session selling ST25 rice with the participation of People's Artist Tu Long.

According to the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, in the auction on the afternoon of October 24, the largest sturgeon in Lai Chau, raised by Duong Yen Cooperative, was successfully auctioned with the highest price of 102 million. The winning bidder was Mr. Nguyen Hong Long - General Director of Proton LLC.
