On the afternoon of October 24, comrade Nguyen Khac Toan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee inspected key projects and industrial parks (IPs) in the south of the province. Accompanying him were comrade Trinh Minh Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

At the inspection locations, investors of key projects reported the specific progress of each project. Provincial leaders also listened to reports on the investment situation, operations and difficulties and problems of the industrial parks: Ca Na, Phuoc Nam, Du Long, Thanh Hai. Thereby, grasping the overall situation of key projects and industrial parks in the south of the province to have directions to remove difficulties and support investors in implementation.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Minh Hoang said that Ca Na Industrial Park is attracting the attention of many Korean investors, so the locality needs to support the site clearance work. In addition, after the arrangement and merger of administrative units, some projects are behind schedule, so departments, branches and sectors need to review and inspect to promote the implementation progress. For difficulties and problems in each project, units need to assign specialized staff for each specific project to grasp and support investors.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan requested departments, branches, localities and investors to make more efforts in implementing projects and attracting investment. The province identified that industry and energy are important pillars to achieve double-digit economic growth in the following years, so the inspected projects play a very important role in contributing to the overall development of the province.

Regarding difficulties and problems, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan assigned specific tasks to each unit to resolve. In particular, the difficulties in Thanh Hai Industrial Park were assigned to the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board to study socialization or have a plan to build a wastewater system; the Department of Finance was assigned to study and give opinions on investment capital sources, propose and report to the Provincial People's Committee on upgrading gates and fences before November 5. Regarding the implementation of phase 2 of Phuoc Nam Industrial Park, he assigned the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to consider supporting investors to ensure timely, effective and proper implementation.

At the same time, comrade Nguyen Khac Toan assigned the People's Committee of Ca Na commune to mobilize the entire political system to organize the handover of construction sites; resolutely and thoroughly handle the problems of site clearance in the project of connecting the North-South Expressway with National Highway 1 to Ca Na General Seaport. The Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units to monitor, support, supervise, and post-audit the implementation of projects that have been granted investment policies (outside economic zones and industrial parks). The Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board shall be the focal point to monitor, support, and urge investors of industrial park infrastructure projects during the project implementation process. In addition, he also assigned responsibility for site clearance to relevant units; assigned responsibility to departments and branches to support enterprises and investors during the project implementation process.
