
"We had two weeks of intensive physical training and three weeks to refine and review tactical strategies. I am very confident that this team can have a successful tournament in Thailand," said coach Diego Giustozzi.
In preparation for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese futsal team landed in Bangkok today, December 13th. Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Tran Anh Tu, personally welcomed the team at the airport, discussing preparations and the players' fitness and health.

Head coach Diego Giustozzi said that the Vietnamese futsal team has had a thorough preparation process, including training camps both domestically and internationally. Currently, all the players are ready for the competition. Giustozzi thanked the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) for its support during the team's preparation.
"I understand that the SEA Games are of great significance to the Vietnamese people. In sports , it's difficult to predict the outcome; results depend on many factors and always contain surprises. However, I can assure you that all the players will give 100% effort for the national flag and colors," said Giustozzi.
In Nonthaburi, the men's futsal team will be staying in the same hotel as the women's futsal team. Logistics, especially food, are being prioritized. Coach Giustozzi and his team are aiming to win the gold medal. Host nation Thailand is identified as the main opponent, being the defending champion.
