Vietnam U23 team improves the quality of training sessions.
As early as 2:30 PM, the Vietnam U23 team arrived at the new training ground. The sweltering Bangkok sun didn't faze Van Khang and his teammates. On the contrary, Coach Kim Sang-sik's players were excited to be training on the beautiful, smooth grass, in conditions relatively similar to the Rajamangala Stadium. Previously, the players had trained on the dry, hard, and pothole-filled grass at the RBAC Stadium. Coach Kim Sang-sik himself repeatedly exclaimed "Wow" to his assistants upon seeing the grass at the 72nd Anniversary Stadium.
Therefore, the U23 Vietnam team's training session was even more exciting. The players laughed and joked during the warm-up, showing good ball control. Assistant coach Luu Danh Minh even said, "Today, they're more comfortable doing tackles." This means that in the practice matches and tactical drills, Coach Kim Sang-sik's players are allowed to play with a little more passion and determination to maximize the quality of the training session. In contrast, if training at the RBAC stadium, the U23 Vietnam team needs to be more cautious because carelessness could easily lead to injuries due to the poor pitch conditions.

Coach Kim Sang-sik was visibly pleased that the Vietnam U23 team was training in better conditions.

The shots from the Vietnam U23 team were more accurate, the ball rolled close to the ground instead of bouncing erratically.

Therefore, the length of the ghost-stone rituals was extended.

Goalkeeper Trung Kien is confident.
In a press briefing before training, goalkeeper Trung Kien said: "After the victory against U23 Malaysia, the whole team is very focused on training according to Coach Kim Sang-sik's plan and has prepared well for the next match. I think the victory against U23 Malaysia is a motivation and a source of confidence for us to continue performing well in the semi-final. After each match, we sit down to evaluate our strengths and weaknesses, and everything is resolved in a meeting with Coach Kim. I think U23 Philippines is a very strong team, having defeated U23 Indonesia in the group stage. I think they are a worthy opponent for us to focus on and be more determined to win against."
Finally, Trung Kien shared that he aims to keep a clean sheet in the upcoming matches of the Vietnam U23 team. The SEA Games 33 men's football semi-final between Vietnam U23 and the Philippines will take place at 3:30 PM on December 15th at the Rajamangala Stadium.

Trung Kien highly appreciates the Philippines.
