Nearly 4 million visitors visited the National Achievements Exhibition in 6 days

During the 6 days of opening, the National Achievement Exhibition welcomed nearly 4 million visitors. This is an unprecedented record number for exhibition events in Vietnam.

The exhibition of national achievements organized on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme: "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" opened on August 28 at the National Exhibition Center (VEC).

The exhibition is an opportunity to honor history, introduce the outstanding achievements of our Party, State and People in the process of protecting, building and developing the country over the past 80 years; contribute to propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, strengthening people's belief in the country's path of innovation and sustainable development. At the same time, promote the image of a dynamic, innovative Vietnam, deeply integrated with the international community.

In particular, this is an opportunity for all people to directly experience and enjoy the great achievements of the country's development. With its significance and scale, the exhibition has attracted and welcomed a large number of visitors since its opening day.

According to the Exhibition Organizing Committee, the number of visitors on day 1 (August 28) was more than 230,000 people; on August 29, nearly 300,000 people; on August 31, about 800,000 people; on September 1, about 1.05 million people; and on September 2, about 900,000 people.

In total, in the first 6 days of opening, the exhibition welcomed nearly 4 million visitors, according to the Organizing Committee, this is a record number never seen before in any exhibition in Vietnam. In the peak day, the National Exhibition Center served more than 1 million people.

Despite welcoming a record number of visitors, unprecedented in the history of exhibitions in Vietnam, the services at the National Exhibition Center still ensure full, thoughtful, clean and safe services for visitors with a reception team and nearly 2,000 volunteers. In addition, there are an average of 100 events and experiential activities taking place at the exhibition every day.

Previously, according to the plan, the exhibition would close on September 5. However, due to the needs of people and visitors, the exhibition will be extended until September 15 according to Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg dated September 2, 2025 of the Prime Minister on extending the exhibition of national achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

In the Official Dispatch, Vingroup Corporation was assigned to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to resolve arising issues; ensure plans for logistics, traffic, health, security, order, fire prevention, environmental sanitation, etc. during the extended exhibition period; create favorable conditions for units to continue to participate in exhibitions and organize events until the end of the exhibition period.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, according to their assigned functions and tasks, urgently inform, mobilize, and create conditions for businesses to continue to participate in the exhibition until the end of the exhibition extension period.

At the National Achievements Exhibition, the Industry and Trade sector display space within the exhibition with the theme "80 years of Industry and Trade growing with the country" is divided into 5 areas: Celebration area; Industry and Trade sector area - 80 years of heroic history; Industry and Trade sector area - Achievements and imprints; Industry and Trade sector area in the era of the country's rise; Experience and interaction area.
