Nearly 4 million visitors visit the National Achievements Exhibition in Dong Anh

After 6 days of opening (from August 28 to September 2), the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" attracted nearly 4 million visitors.

On September 3, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that after 6 days of opening the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey", the National Exhibition Center (VEC) welcomed nearly 4 million visitors. This is a record number never seen before at any exhibition in Vietnam.

Specifically, on the opening day (August 28), the Exhibition welcomed more than 230,000 people; on the second day, more than 300,000 people; on the third day, more than 650,000 people; on the fourth day, about 800,000 people; on the fifth day, about 1.05 million people; and on September 2, about 900,000 people.

In order to meet the needs and aspirations and create conditions for people to have more time to visit and experience the activities and events at the Exhibition, based on the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to extend the exhibition time until September 15.

The exhibition "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is organized in an open, multi-level format, with the exhibition space logically arranged on an indoor and outdoor display area of ​​up to nearly 260,000 m².

The exhibition was held on the largest scale ever, with the full participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths across the entire area of ​​the Exhibition Center.

The exhibition includes many special thematic areas, showing cross-sections of revolutionary history and vertical sections of core values ​​and great achievements in the heroic history of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people.

Highlights include: The central area of ​​the Exhibition with the theme "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way", recreating an overview of important events, brilliant milestones, and successes under the leadership of the Party; "Vietnam - Country - People" exhibition space on achievements in cultural and artistic development, honoring the beauty of nature, the country and the people of Vietnam; "Economic locomotive" exhibition space on achievements of state-owned corporations and groups; "Start-up and nation building" exhibition space on achievements of typical private enterprises; "Aspiration for the sky" exhibition space on the field of aerospace; "Sword and shield" exhibition space on achievements of the heroic People's Army and People's Public Security with modern weapons and technical equipment basically researched, manufactured and improved by Vietnam.

During the exhibition, the Organizing Committee will deploy 20 free buses and 2 tram routes within the area; organize 2 outdoor food courts in the North and West courtyards with more than 114 kiosks, 4 indoor food courts, 12 information booths both indoors and outdoors...

In addition to the permanent exhibitions, an average of 100 events and experiential activities take place at the Exhibition every day. Typical examples include the Ho Chi Minh City art program - Faith and Aspiration (August 29), the Hanoi art program - Forever shining Vietnam's aspiration (August 31), the special art program "Echoing forever" by the Ministry of Public Security (September 3), a music program by artist Max Sound Band...; high-altitude fireworks displays are organized on August 28, September 2 and September 13.

Coming to the Exhibition, visitors can also participate in robot performances, culinary demonstrations, hot air balloon performances, art kite performances, handicraft performances by artisans from craft villages, traditional art performances from the Ministry of Culture and 34 provinces and cities; seminars in many fields...
