Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology has 2 methods of considering high school transcripts: considering the average score of 3 semesters (semester 1 of grade 12 and semester 1, semester 2 of grade 11) and considering the average score of 3 subjects in grade 12. The standard score of the first application period of the school ranges from 18-24 depending on the major.
Specifically, the benchmark score for pharmacy is 24, nursing and medical laboratory technology is 19.5. All other majors have a benchmark score of 18.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Dung, Director of the Media Center of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, said that in the first round, the school received more than 5,000 applications with more than 17,000 wishes. With the announced standard scores, more than 15,000 wishes were eligible for admission.
Ms. Dung noted that for the health science group, candidates need to ensure the threshold conditions to ensure input quality according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. For the vocal music major, for the 3-semester score method, candidates need to have a total score of 10 points or higher in the 2 music aptitude tests. Candidates can participate in aptitude tests organized by the school (on June 3, July 8 and August 5) or use the test results from other universities to participate in the admission process.
The school continues to accept applications for the second round of high school transcripts for both of the above methods from the first round's admission scores onwards. The deadline for receiving applications is 5:00 p.m. on May 31.
Saigon University of Technology
During the high school transcript review period (from March 16 to April 21), Saigon University of Technology has 4 methods including: 3-semester transcript review (average score of semester 1, semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 of grade 12), 5-semester transcript review (average score of the whole year of grade 10, grade 11 and semester 1 of grade 12), grade 12 transcript review (average score of 3 subjects according to subject groups). Also during this period, the school will consider admission based on the scores of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University.
The school continues to recruit in the second round from April 24 to May 26 and in the third round from May 29 to June 23.

Dr. Mai Duc Toan, Director of the Admissions and Communications Center, said that after a period of receiving high school transcript applications (from April 3 to 28), the admissions council determined that candidates with an average score of 16.5 points in semester 1 of grade 11, semester 2 of grade 11, and semester 1 of grade 12 will be admitted to the general program and from 18 points will be admitted to the talent program.
Gia Dinh University will accept applications for the next round of admission from May 4. "It is expected that the benchmark score for this round will increase by 0.5-1 point," Dr. Toan said.
Representatives of the schools noted that this is only the conditional admission score. All candidates admitted by early admission methods must complete the registration procedures on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission portal from July 10-30 and from July 31-August 6 must pay the online admission fee to officially become students of the schools.
