According to 9to5Google , Gmail has officially rolled out a new AI-powered search feature that promises to quickly bring "most relevant" results to users on Android, iOS, and the web.

Specifically, in the blog post, Google introduced a smarter search feature using AI to help show Gmail users the most relevant results faster.

Previously, Google's email service often displayed emails containing related keywords in chronological order or displayed "Top Results" before other emails.

With this update, Gmail users can choose to see the most relevant search results. The feature will consider a variety of factors such as time sent, most clicked emails, and frequent contacts.

The emails you're looking for are more likely to be at the top of search results. This saves you valuable time and makes it easier to find important information without having to endlessly scroll through emails from months or years ago," Google said.

This “most relevant” search feature will be rolling out globally to personal accounts, while it’s unclear when it will be available to business accounts.

For users who still want to use search the old-fashioned way, Google still offers a chronological view of emails.
