According to Tri Thuc - Znews , Hanoi Police Club (CAHN) decided not to sign a contract with Brazilian midfielder Andrey Ramos even though the two sides had reached a preliminary agreement. The reason is that Ramos did not pass the biomedical test due to a history of persistent injuries, making him unable to meet the team's physical requirements.
Ramos, born in 1998, was a mainstay of the Brazil U17 team that participated in the 2015 U17 World Cup. He grew up at the prestigious Vasco da Gama academy and was once valued at 5 million euros thanks to his impressive performance in the Brazilian National Championship.
Ramos played 154 times for Vasco, scoring 11 goals and providing 9 assists. However, since leaving the club, his career has been plagued by injuries.
In the first half of 2025, Ramos only played 5 matches for Athletic Club in Serie B Brazil before his contract was terminated. Although his current value on Transfermarkt is still 800,000 euros - high compared to the V.League average - CAHN decided not to take the risk.
At the same time, CAHN also could not recruit midfielder Vo Hoang Minh Khoa because Becamex TP.HCM refused to negotiate.
On the other hand, the police team reached an agreement to recruit overseas Vietnamese central defender Adou Minh from Ha Tinh Club. The player, born in 1997, of Vietnamese-French descent, played 22/26 matches in V.League 2024/25, played the full 90 minutes in every appearance and scored 1 goal.
Adou Minh is considered one of Ha Tinh's outstanding pillars of the season. CAHN is expected to announce this contract this week, preparing for the 2025/26 title campaign.
