In April, while waiting for my child at the elementary school gate, I caught sight of a high school boy engrossed in reading a book in front of the school gate amidst the hustle and bustle around.

In his uniform, the male student stood next to his father leisurely reading a book next to a neatly parked motorbike. Perhaps the child was waiting for his younger sibling in this school whose gate was still quietly closed. And his world was wrapped up in the pages of books, ignoring the flow of life and the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

I did not have time to ask for permission before I hurriedly recorded that meaningful moment. How many young people today can be fascinated by words and find such magical joy from books? How many families have time to invest in a quality and effective way in the task of sowing the seeds of love for books and cultivating a reading culture like that? Read books to understand the world, don’t you believe?

The land of the human soul, full of ups and downs and hardships after more than 2 years of suffering in the Covid-19 pandemic, is continuously challenged by the multidimensional rhythms of real life and virtual networks.

We are like a branch of water hyacinth floating in the middle of a vast river. Sometimes we feel sad because of hardship and difficulty. Sometimes we feel lonely because of painful falls. Sometimes our souls are troubled because life's path is increasingly lacking in joy and happiness is unstable...

At those times, I hope you find peace in the pages of a book. Need love, books have boundless love through each page, sending gifts from a heart rich in emotions to life. Need dreams, books have dreams filled in each line carrying aspirations to make the tree of life bloom. Need a reason to live, books have a myriad of feelings, whispering about a beautiful and kind way of life, contributing to making life more brilliant.

The drifting water hyacinth will naturally find a place to anchor the deserted soul, soothe the wounds, heal psychological traumas and bloom with simple flowers!

The deep inner world of each of us is more or less obscured by daily worries and covered by the hustle and bustle of the long days. That land of the soul is waiting for the desire of thousands of "seeds" to be planted, thousands of "streams of water" to be watered and millions of "hands" to support!
