4G connection guide for 70mai A810

After installing the 70mai Hardwire Kit 4G and connecting to the 70mai A810 camera via the USB Type C to C cable in the device, you proceed to Update the Firmware for the camera and connect the 4G kit.

First, open the 70mai app, find the dash cam card and click on the 3-bar menu icon. Then, follow these steps:

1. If a firmware update is available, a small red dot will appear near “Firmware Update”. Tap it to go to the download page.

2. Download the new firmware version following the on-screen instructions. Make sure your phone is connected to the Internet during the download.

3. After downloading, go back to the dash cam tab and go to the dash cam homepage.

4.In the dash cam homepage, a prompt will appear “Detected an existing update package. Push it to the dash cam?”. Tap “Push” and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the update.

5. After the update is complete, the dash cam will automatically reboot and then you can use it with the latest firmware version.

*Note: The dash cam must be connected to an external power source during the update process.

6. After the Update process is complete, on the 70mai application, select “Add 4G” and continue with the next steps until the “Complete” message appears.

7. The 70mai Hardwire Kit 4G module will display a green light after completing all the connection steps. The 70mai app will now display all the functions of "Remote Monitoring", "Vehicle Location" and you can start controlling.
