Officials in Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau have not taken shuttle buses to work in Ho Chi Minh City.

At around 7:50 a.m. on July 1, the first bus carrying officials from Binh Duong arrived at Saigon Bus Station (23-9 Park, Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). After that, 5 buses from Binh Duong also arrived at this station, but all the buses were empty because no officials had come to Ho Chi Minh City to work on the first day of the merger.

Driver Nguyen Van Nhan, who drove the shuttle bus from Binh Duong , said that the bus departed to pick up officials at 6:45 a.m. at the Binh Duong Administrative Center, then moved to pick-up points such as Binh Duong General Hospital; Becamex Tower Building; Lotte Mart Binh Duong Supermarket and then returned to Ho Chi Minh City.

"On the first day, I didn't see any officials taking the shuttle bus," said driver Nhan.

Similarly, at more than 8 o'clock on the same day, the bus transporting officials from Ba Ria - Vung Tau arrived at the above bus station. All 5 buses had no officials on board.

Driver Nguyen Cong Phuoc, in charge of the convoy of cars taking officials from Ba Ria - Vung Tau to work in Ho Chi Minh City, said that the car departed at 5:40 a.m. and arrived in the center of Ho Chi Minh City in about 2 hours and 20 minutes. The route was relatively clear and there were no traffic jams.

According to the contract signed with the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center, the bus departs on time and moves according to the prescribed route.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center, initially, the center will arrange 6 trips per day: 3 trips for pick-up and 3 trips for pick-up and drop-off, divided into 2 different time frames to serve the travel needs of officials, civil servants and public employees from the Binh Duong Administrative Center; Ba Ria - Vung Tau Administrative Center to the Ho Chi Minh City Administrative Center.

The total number of shuttle trips from these points is 12 round trips.

Once travel demand stabilizes, the center will increase trips to better serve the travel needs of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers.

Accordingly, this organization plan aims to serve: civil servants and public employees working at Party, State, Fatherland Front agencies, socio-political organizations, public service units, providing free pick-up and drop-off for civil servants and public employees using civil servant and public employee cards to use the service when boarding the vehicle.

The transport unit is Phuong Trang FutaBusline Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company.

Transportation includes: 4 45-seat vehicles and 6 16-seat vehicles. Wifi is installed on the vehicles.

Vehicles will display the information board "Civil servant shuttle bus" on the windshield for easy identification.
