According to Korea Economic Daily, Global Reinsurance Company Aon Plc - owner of Landmark 72, the tallest building in Hanoi and the second tallest building in Vietnam, wants to sell 100% of this real estate shares for more than 1,000 billion won (more than 18,400 billion VND).
Landmark 72 building is located at the intersection of Duong Dinh Nghe - Pham Hung (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi). The building began construction in 2007. In 2012, the building was inaugurated with the full name Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower.
Landmark 72 is a complex office building consisting of a 72-storey mixed-use tower with a height of 350 m and two 48-storey twin towers with a height of 212 m.
The most famous feature of the tallest building in Vietnam is the observation deck on the roof of the building. At a height of 350 m, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Hanoi from above. In particular, on the roof of the building there is a helipad.
Landmark 72 Tower also has Class A office area from the 12th to the 46th floor.
The rental price here is up to 36 USD/m2/month, not including the service fee of 6.8 USD/m2. Although it is the most expensive in Vietnam, the building is still chosen by many leading financial, banking and technology corporations in the world to rent space.
From the 48th to the 60th floor are serviced apartments for rent, and from the 62nd to the 70th floor is the Intercontinental Hotel.
Inter Continental Hanoi Landmark 72 Hotel is a 5-star international standard hotel in Hanoi. This place is chosen to welcome international delegations, athletes and reporters to attend major political , cultural, sports and tourism events in Vietnam.
At the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31), Inter Continental Hanoi Landmark 72 Hotel is one of 14 hotels selected by the Hanoi Department of Tourism to welcome international delegations, athletes and reporters.
Regarding the construction process, the investor shared that because the ground in Hanoi is not solid, large piles had to be used, a total of 980 piles with a diameter of more than 2 meters were used to drive down. The foundation for the entire complex alone took more than a year. During the construction period, the Landmark 72 construction site always had 8,000 workers working day and night.
When constructing these buildings, the Korean company considered them a symbol of Vietnam's economic growth, especially the growth in construction and services, promoting the development of Hanoi.
